The Clay County Soil and Water Conservation Office offers a variety of services.  Below is just a few of these services. 

Service List

We have a Truax No-Till Drill available for rent.  The drill is capable of drilling a wide variety of grass seeds as well as wheat, soybeans, and legumes.

Drill Rental

Plat books are available for purchase in our office.  Our latest plat book is the 2004 version.  The cost is $15.00 and includes Vigo County as well as Clay.

Plat Book Sales

Clay County now offers the soil survey on a interactive CD-ROM.  The disk can measure acerage, print maps, and measure distances as well as other valuable resources.  They are available for a $5.00 donation.
